1955 BSA A-7 500 cc

This A7 has been in storage since 1975. It's the victim of
another 'would be' restorer.

The good news is that the engine and trans have never been
apart and seem to have very low miles on them. The engine
starts with one or two half assed kicks and settles into a
smooth, slow idle very quickly. Doesn't smoke, rattle or leak
excessively. Here's one you won't have to overhaul!

Another neat thing about this bike is that it's a '55. That means
it has the Goldstar type frame and forks, and the single sided,
nice looking brakes that came in '56. This bike can essentially
be built to look like a twin cyl Gold Star. Well worth restoring.
Comes with box of parts pictured.

This is, to our knowledge, the rarest street Honda ever built. Only about 300 were made.
